Karl L. Boeckmann was born and raised in Glendale , California . After graduation from Hoover High, Glendale College , and U.S.C., he spent two years in the U.S. Army stationed in Panama . Upon his return, he spent five years with Touche, Ross & Co. becoming a C.P.A. In 1965 he joined his brother Bert at Galpin Ford, where he is currently Vice President. He is involved in many charitable organizations in the Valley, including Goodwill, ONE Generation, American Diabetes Association, New Directions For Youth. He also has been recognized for his charitable involvements by receiving numerous awards including the ONE Generation and Nellie Reagan Awards, and is the 2004 Fernando Award recipient. His loving wife, Thyra, joins him in his efforts.
